Responsible for issuing identification cards to:
  • All active duty personnel, reserve and retired military personnel and their family members. Priority in facility are as follows: 1) Active Duty 2) Handicapped 3) Family Members 4) Retirees. Reservists need to call for operations. Family members without sponsor need to obtain power of attorney.
  • USAR/ARNG members and their family members upon verification of eligibility. USAR/ARNG members with a unit in local area should have an application verified through their local unit. Other USAR members may have their application verified through Fort Lewis DRCS.
  • For shopping assistant letter call (253) 967-5065 (Waller Hall, Rm 101)
The facility also checks and updates all information on the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, processed ID cards by mail for the six-state area of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah to include the Senior Instructor Groups of 4th ROTC Region, and provide dependency determinations packets for active duty personnel.
